Americano One shot of expresso brewed acording to your machines directions,but add hot distilled water to the shot to fill a 6 oz. cup. Classic Espresso One shot of expresso (single)
Usually drank black or with just a teaspoon of sugar
VARIATION: Double Espresso= 2 shots. Cappuccino An espresso topped with steamed milk and milk foam
Includes 1/3 espresso(1.5-2 oz.), to which 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 foamed milk is added in a 6oz. cup.
Directions:
Froth the milk first.
Brew a single espresso shot and pour it into a 6oz. cup.
Using a spoon to hold back the foam from your frothing pitcher, pour the steamed milk gently over the espresso, until the cup is 2/3 full.
Finally, spoon the milk foam into the cup until it is full.
Serve with cinnamon or cocoa powder. Caffe Latte/Cafe' au Lait A demitasse of espresso (1.5oz.),to which an equal amount of warm milk is added.

Brew your expresso
Heat some milk in a saucepan until the milk just starts to bubble at the edges.
Add warmed milk to the expresso.
VARIATION: Reduce amount of warmed milk to make the drink stronger tasting. Dry Cappucino A variation on the Classic Cappucinno (less milk and more foam).
Directions
Follow directions as with the Classic Cappucino.
Using a spoon to hold back the foam from you frothing pitcher, pour a small amount of steamed milk gently over the espresso(cup should be less than half full).
